The EnviroStars rating system is based on your company's commitment to hazardous waste reduction. The more proactive you are in preventing pollution and reducing hazardous waste, the more benefits and recognition you receive.
2 Star Certification: Demonstrate that you manage hazardous waste properly and set a specific goal to reduce hazardous waste over the next year, and receive the following:

3 Star Certification: Identify ways you have reduced hazardous waste in your cleaning practices, product and waste storage, purchasing and inventory management. Show how you have involved your employees in hazardous waste reduction and your business will receive all of the above, plus:

4 Star Certification: Show how waste prevention is built into your operations, marketing, management, and accounting systems and you will receive all of the above, plus:

5 Star Certification: Demonstrate that you are a proactive leader, committed to preventing waste and spreading an ethic of environmental responsibility. Become a Green Works member for solid waste recycling and buying recycled products. Show how your business practices go beyond others in your industry and your business will receive all of the above, plus:
