In order to become a certified EnviroStars business, you must meet certain program requirements, set specific goals to reduce hazardous waste for the year, fill out an application form, and receive a visit from an EnviroStars representative.

Fill out the EnviroStars application form.

Program Requirements
To be eligible for the EnviroStars program, you must meet the following requirements:
You are located in King County or another participating county.
You do not generate large quantities of hazardous waste.
You set a goal to reduce hazardous waste for the year.
You fill out an EnviroStars application form that details your waste reduction goals and efforts.
You receive a visit from an EnviroStars representative who will verify your waste is properly managed, and suggest improvements.
